Policy on PE Kit

TSCOA branded kit is only available through school office twice a year in June and October and will be communicated to parents via email. Main chain supermarkets are most cost effective place to buy kit.
Indoors:
- Plain T-shirt (TCSOA, blue or white).
or
- Polo shirt (TCSOA, blue or white).
or
- Plain navy/ black/ dark shorts / track suit bottoms / leggings
- Indoor trainers
Outdoors - As above. The following is also recommended:
- Plain navy/ black sports jumper or TCSOA Hoodie or TCSOA Rugby top (through Mr Shore PE)
- Outdoor trainers
- Towel to dry off in case of rain
- Plastic bag to put dirty kit in to
- It is recommended that pupils are prepared with indoor kit should the weather be too bad to go outside and an indoor area has to be used.
Forgotten kit
Pupils who forget kit can borrow clean kit from the PE department. This will be viewed as failing to turn up to class with appropriate materials. If you forget 3 times, you will be issued with a Behaviour Review. If pupils forget kit they should report to their PE teacher as soon as they enter the PE department.
Inappropriate kit
Pupils who turn up for their PE lesson wearing inappropriate kit (anything not listed above) will be verbally warned and given kit where necessary. If this happens 3 times, a letter will be sent home by the school to notify the parent/ guardian of the issue.
School uniform (jackets/ jumpers/ trousers/ shirts) should not be worn during PE for hygiene reasons.
Jewellery / Hair / Chewing gum
On grounds on health and safety, no jewellery should be worn during PE. Long hair should be tied back and chewing gum placed in the bin at the start of the lesson.
PLEASE DO YOUR BIT TO HELP MAINTAIN HIGH STANDARDS AT THIS SCHOOL
