Morning Playground Supervision

At The Community School of Auchterarder we are in the fortunate position of having support for the children who arrive at school by bus. This allows us to have two support staff in the playground from 8:45am, specifically for those children. Whilst we are not obligated to supervise other children until 9:00am, we do try to assist parents by using this facility in welcoming other pupils into the playground too.

Normally, one of the Depute Head Teachers is at the bottom of the lane to greet pupils as a courtesy measure; however, parents should not rely on this as a method of supervision as there are times where this is not possible due to other operational commitments.

If you have concerns regarding appropriate supervision for your child before 9:00am, we would advise that you do not drop them off until just before 9:00am.
